Great addition to the 86 novel storiesGreat action scenes， some nice emotional scenes in the novel regarding Prince Vika， and good dialogue of characters struggling in epic battles to defeat the Legion。

This volume was very good but because the previous one was so superb and this didn't quite live up to that one， I'm giving this four stars。 This is mainly because this was dragging a bit at points here and there。 The battles are still very exciting and there is big new element in form of Sirins。Eighty-Six Strike Package and some tech personnel are assigned for a mission in United Kingdom of Roa Garcia， a northern country that still holds on to their nobility。 The Legion is pressing heavily on Un This volume was very good but because the previous one was so superb and this didn't quite live up to that one， I'm giving this four stars。 This is mainly because this was dragging a bit at points here and there。 The battles are still very exciting and there is big new element in form of Sirins。Eighty-Six Strike Package and some tech personnel are assigned for a mission in United Kingdom of Roa Garcia， a northern country that still holds on to their nobility。 The Legion is pressing heavily on United Kingdom and they need help driving them away。 In addition， a unit codenamed The Merciless Queen is supposedly somewhere there and Federacy thinks that could provide a key to turn the tide of this war。It's pretty exciting because it means a new kind of battlefield and a new setting in general！ More lore！ And indeed， United Kingdom is doing some stuff that other countries aren't and those things are both incredibly useful and gruesome。。。 But Sirins， the "things" in question， bring a lot of interesting food for thought about what is human and whether Legion and humans are so different after all。。。 And the Eighty-Six are forced to think about their identity too。 It was interesting。Speaking of gruesome， a new character， a prince named Viktor （Vika） is introduced。 He's a creepy one， he's both completely ruthless but also heavily driven by big emotions。。。 He's kind of like Shin if he， so to say， tipped over the edge。 But Vika isn't a bad guy， I guess？ I mean， obviously he's on the same side with Lena， Shin & co。 but he also sends off a lot of suspicious vibes。 At least he's interesting if somewhat stressful addition， haha！ The mission in United Kingdom continues in the next volume， so we'll learn more about him too。Lena and Shin are in kind of stalemate because after the conversation at the end of volume 4 about whether there's good in the world and is it even worth thinking about， and if past things matter， they don't really know how to speak about it anymore because neither was able to make the other understand their view。 Shin especially thinks a lot about it though and again， the epilogue was really good stuff regarding this。 I'm curious to see where he'll go with this thoughts on this。Battles are， as said， always really engaging stuff！ This is still mainly a series about a war and one that focuses on that war and its battles。 And I'm all for it！Something I hope a future volume would provide: some of info page on different ethnicities！ There are so many and some of them have only been mentioned briefly， so I'm curious。 。。。more

第四集之後明顯走上每集展示不同戰場型態的路子，這集又加上「出差」到不同國度的元素。聯合王國的權力結構設定（感覺是把阿拉伯聯合大公國搬到阿爾卑斯山）讓這部更輕小說型態一些，既視感重之餘，也徹底脫離了第一二三集現實系的路數。雪地要塞攻城戰當然可以，但超現實系的人造人之死跟前幾集有點不搭（就好像前幾集在演驚爆危機，這集變紫羅蘭永恆花園），不搭的程度還超越三集後的海獸。即便如此，看在作者努力把這個設定扣回去軍團的發明，可以評為及格。

Infelizmente a história começou a se repetir bastante e perdeu parte do brilho que fez o primeiro volume excelente。 Ainda estou curioso pra ver o futuro dessa história mas espero que a história tome um rumo diferente。

ในที่สุดก็ได้อ่านเล่ม 5 แล้ววววว ตอนเริ่มเรื่องแอบลืมๆไปแล้วว่าเนื้อเรื่องถึงไหน 5555 คือระยะเวลาการวางขายมันนาน นี่ยังคิดเลยเล่ม 6 จะมาตอนไหนแต่ว่าเล่มนี้ค่อนข้างคุ้มค่ามากๆๆ เล่มนี้จะดำเนินเรื่องผ่านตัวเอกเดิมในพื้นที่ใหม่อย่างสหราชอาณาจักรที่หนาวเย็น มีหิมะปกคลุมยาวนาน （แหม。。。รู้แค่นี้ก็เดาได้เลยว่าต้องเดือด） เนื้อหาเล่มนี้ค่อนข้างเข้มข้นกว่าเดิมเลยล่ะ สนุกมากๆ และมีความไซไฟมากกว่าเล่มก่อนหน้านั้นเพิ่มไปอีก และเต็มไปด้วยอารมณ์ นอกจากการสู้รบที่ดุเดือดแล้วเล่มนี้ก็ปูทางให้ความสัมพันธ์โรแมนซ์ขอ ในที่สุดก็ได้อ่านเล่ม 5 แล้ววววว ตอนเริ่มเรื่องแอบลืมๆไปแล้วว่าเนื้อเรื่องถึงไหน 5555 คือระยะเวลาการวางขายมันนาน นี่ยังคิดเลยเล่ม 6 จะมาตอนไหนแต่ว่าเล่มนี้ค่อนข้างคุ้มค่ามากๆๆ เล่มนี้จะดำเนินเรื่องผ่านตัวเอกเดิมในพื้นที่ใหม่อย่างสหราชอาณาจักรที่หนาวเย็น มีหิมะปกคลุมยาวนาน （แหม。。。รู้แค่นี้ก็เดาได้เลยว่าต้องเดือด） เนื้อหาเล่มนี้ค่อนข้างเข้มข้นกว่าเดิมเลยล่ะ สนุกมากๆ และมีความไซไฟมากกว่าเล่มก่อนหน้านั้นเพิ่มไปอีก และเต็มไปด้วยอารมณ์ นอกจากการสู้รบที่ดุเดือดแล้วเล่มนี้ก็ปูทางให้ความสัมพันธ์โรแมนซ์ของตัวละครเพิ่มมากขึ้น ซึ่งในเล่ม 6 น่าจะชัดเจนขึ้นพออ่านเล่มนี้จบ อยากดูเวอร์ชั่นอนิเมะเลย แบบว่าฉากต่อสู้ เครื่องจักร มันต้องอลังการแน่ๆแล้วยิ่งได้ดนตรีประกอบอีกสุดท้ายนี้ประเด็นสำคัญของเรื่องนี้ก็ยังคงอยู่กับเรื่องของความหลายของชีวิตที่เราอยู่ไปเพื่ออะไร แล้วที่เราพร่ำบอกว่าเราอยู่เพื่อสิ่งนี้มันคุ้มค่าแล้วใช่มั้ย // การมีชีวิตอยู่เพื่อที่ต่อสู้ มันเหมือนเป็นสิ่งเดียวที่มีความหมายกับ 86 แต่ถ้าสงครามจบล่ะ จะเป็นไงต่อ 。。。นั่นเป็นคำถามสำคัญของ86 ที่ยังมีชีวิตอยู่ หวังว่าเหล่า 86 จะค้นพบความฝัน ความหวัง มากกว่าการสู้บนสนามรบสปอย（view spoiler）[เราชอบตรงที่ ซีรีน พูดกับชิน ประมาณว่า "ถ้าอยากจะสู้บนสนามรบโดยที่ไม่มีข้อจำกัดใดๆ จะยอมสละความเป็นมนุษย์แล้วเป็นแบบซีรีนมั้ย" แล้วคำถามนี้มันก็เล่นเอาชินเงียบไปเลย เพราะจริงๆแล้วลึกๆชินก็คงอยากมีชีวิตปกติแหละ แต่น่าจะยังไม่รู้สึกตัว พอซีรีนมาพูดแบบนี้ พร้อมกับเลน่าที่บอกให้ชินทิ้งเธอไว้ก็ได้ถ้ามันจะทำให้กองกำลังเสียกำลังพลไป พอสองจุดนี้มาประจบเหมาะกัน ชินน่าจะเริ่มรู้สึกตัวมากขึ้นจริงๆ เข้าใจตัวเองมากขึ้นว่าเขาเองก็มีบางอย่างที่สำคัญมากกว่าการต่อสู้บนสนามรบ และเข้าใจว่าตัวเองแทบไม่เข้าใจเลน่าเลย เพราะเลน่าเองก็เจอสงครามแย่ๆมาเหมือนกัน แต่ทำไมถึงยังมีความหวังในชีวิตได้。。。。เกือบลืมคู่ใหม่？อย่างอันจูxดัสติน คู่นี้น่าสนใจนะๆ แต่อันจูเหมือนยังไม่เปิดใจเท่าไร แต่ดัสตินเนี้ย。。。นับถือเลย สารภาพรักตรงๆๆ รอดูว่าอันจูจะเปิดใจให้ดัสตินมั้ย （hide spoiler）] 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 4 STARS。 Yet another amaaazzing volume！ This one definitely had lots going on so I have a few different points I want to mention。FIRST。 Anju x Dustin。 SO STINKING ADORABLE！！！ I'll be honest， I was really sad when Daiya died in the first book。 But now。。。 I think I like Dustin better。 Hehe。 By far my favorite scene in this book was when they got stuck in the lodge。 Not only was it hilarious， （no seriously， I died） but it was just so cute<3。 I super super super liked that Dustin was the person who 4 STARS。 Yet another amaaazzing volume！ This one definitely had lots going on so I have a few different points I want to mention。FIRST。 Anju x Dustin。 SO STINKING ADORABLE！！！ I'll be honest， I was really sad when Daiya died in the first book。 But now。。。 I think I like Dustin better。 Hehe。 By far my favorite scene in this book was when they got stuck in the lodge。 Not only was it hilarious， （no seriously， I died） but it was just so cute<3。 I super super super liked that Dustin was the person who spoke out in the epilogue of the first volume。 Love it。 And dude， when Shin came in during their conversation I LOST IT！ It's so typical of Shin to ruin something like that。 So typical。 And to top it off his Para-RAID on so everyone else heard his confession？？ Poor Dustin :（（It was still funny though）Next， I， again， really liked the undertones going on in this book。 And boy was there a lot of it。 Like how and why the Eighty-Six fight， robots， and common human decency。 There was just a lot of it。 I didn't as much care for the robot/human thing， just because， but it was definitely interesting。 I liked it better than how I normally see it though。 In Western books and movies （things like The Lunar Chronicles and Avengers）， they kind of just gloss over that stuff and treat the AI as humans with quirky personalities， and people forget that they are in fact， not human。 In this one， it wasn't really like that because the makers were basically just using/coping the brains from fallen soldiers， so the people are already dead。 Yeah， it's confusing。That brings me to another interesting point。 Vika's character。 It was another interesting aspect to the story。 The choices he made， why， etc。 Especially how him and his kingdom are basically doing the same thing their enemies do。 （For Shin， all of these things just boiled down to the question of Are Humans Worth It？ Lots of deep stuff man。 :）I'm really excited for the next volume， but I might have to wait a while before I can read it。CONTENT NOTE: This had several uses of strong language。 。。。more

The resolution of the main issue was delayed artificially to create some tension。。。 if they could have done “that” from the start they should have。 That’s the reason why it loses a star。Other than that， a great entry in the series！
